International law firm McDermott Will & Emery (McDermott) is pleased to announce that partner Amanda K. Jester has joined the Firm’s Health Industry Advisory practice in Texas. Amanda’s experience designing and executing complex healthcare transactions will be a strategic asset to health and life sciences clients looking to navigate today’s deal-making landscape.
Amanda has in-depth experience providing strategic counsel on complex healthcare transactions – representing private equity funds, physician practices, hospitals, surgery centers and specialized service providers. She will work closely with McDermott’s renowned Health Practice Group to collaborate with private equity investors, strategic partners and healthcare innovators to foster the unique partnerships and business ventures that are transforming the space. Amanda also strengthens McDermott’s capabilities in Texas, a leading market for healthcare innovation and investment.

Amanda’s skillset is valued by investors, owners, and operators in mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture, contracting and compliance issues. She received her JD from the University of Chicago Law School and was recognized by Chambers USA as a recognized practitioner in Texas. She is licensed in both Texas and Florida.
