Daniel Martin, who has represented clients in large acquisitions and asset sales, loan originations, restructurings and distressed property workouts, said he joined McDermott as a partner in New York because of the firm’s reputation and broad international footprint. McDermott “is looking to grow its corporate transactional practice in New York,” Mr. Martin said. “My timing was good, and it’s a great platform for me to move my practice forward.”
