LONDON (June 16, 2016) – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery announced today that it has appointed Simon Goldring as a partner in its rapidly expanding Private Client Practice in London.

Mr. Goldring joins from Trowers & Hamlins where he was a partner and head of the firm’s Private Wealth department. Prior to that he was at RadcliffesLeBrasseur where he headed up its tax and private client capabilities.

Simon Goldring has over 25 years of experience in domestic and international private wealth and taxation, including personal and corporate tax planning, domicile and residence planning, asset protection, wills, trusts, power of attorney, probate, and corporate structuring. He has acted for a variety of clients, ranging from High Net Worth Individuals, family offices and entrepreneurs to multi-national corporations.

Mr. Goldring is a chartered tax advisor, a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), a Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians and he has an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT). He has been recognised for his work in Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate by The Legal 500 2015.
