Overview
PARIS (October 2, 2017) – McDermott Will & Emery has advised Sogetrel, a company that designs, deploys and maintains network infrastructures and digital communication systems, controlled by funds advised by Quilvest Private Equity and Bpifrance, on the closing of the acquisition of the group Eryma, a subsidiary of group SFPI dealing with electronic security, listed on compartment B of Euronext.
Following the lifting of all the suspensive conditions, the completion of the operation announced in July 2017 is now definitive.
The newly established entity has a turnover of EUR 400m, including EUR 70m in the safety sector, and employs 3,300 staff. Eryma employs 285 people and has a turnover of EUR 38m.
Thanks to this operation, Sogetrel densifies its national network of branches and strengthens its position in the sectors of major national accounts, Operators of Vital Importance (OVI) and of Smart City. Besides its portfolio of prestigious clients, Eryma has developed highly innovative and secure IP security solutions in SAAS mode.
The multi-disciplinary team advising Sogetrel was led by transactions partner Henri Pieyre de Mandiargues, and included Félix Huon, Marie-Muriel Barthelet and Anne Febvre regarding the corporate aspects, Laurent Ayache and Charlotte Michellet for regulatory law, Myrtille Lapuelle for social law, Laura Morelli and Charles de Raignac for intellectual property law and Romain Desmonts for tax law aspects.
