Overview
Munich, December 20, 2019 – McDermott Will & Emery advised CWS-boco International GmbH on the acquisition of all shares in profi-con GmbH Contamination Control including its international subsidiaries from the private equity firm Quartum Kapital. The closing of the transaction is still subject to approval by the German Federal Cartel Office.
CWS-boco International GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Franz Haniel & Cie GmbH, based in Duisburg, Germany.
Profi-con, with its headquarters in Leipzig and subsidiaries in Austria, Switzerland and Bulgaria, is the leading full-service provider for cleanroom cleaning in sterile rooms in the pharmaceutical industry, genetic engineering, biotechnology and medical technology as well as for cleaning dust-free cleanrooms in microelectronics, semiconductor technology, optoelectronics, automotive and plastics technology.
