McDermott Will & Emery advised the Healthcare at Home Group on the sale of its German and Austrian nursing operations to United Homecare Partners AG and its subsidiary United Pharma Partners GmbH. Three companies of the Group were sold in the course of this carve-out.
Healthcare at Home, founded in 1992 is a leading healthcare provider specialising in supporting patients with medical and clinical services in the home environment, and managed medication services for complex medicines. Healthcare at Home supports better outcomes for patients by ensuring greater adherence to treatment. The focus is on drug therapies for chronic diseases and home infusions.
The McDermott team advising Healthcare at Home was led by Nikolaus von Jacobs and included Stephan Rau, Steffen Woitz, Nina Siewert, Germar Enders, Jana Grieb, Marcus Fischer, Matthias Weingut, Robert Feind, Richard Gräbener, and Martina Pfaffinger.
