Frankfurt, December 21, 2020 – McDermott Will & Emery has advised Imfarr Beteiligungs GmbH on a joint off-market deal with SN Beteiligungen Holding AG to acquire the “Silver Tower” in Frankfurt, Germany. The seller is an international consortium of owners. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction volume; however, it is one of the largest real estate transactions in 2020.
Imfarr Beteiligungs GmbH, a family-owned company founded in 2007 in Vienna, specializes in real estate development and real estate investments in Austrian and German cities such as Vienna, Leipzig, Frankfurt and Munich.
The 166-meter-high Frankfurt Silver Tower at Juergen-Ponto-Platz is one of the city’s best-known skyscrapers. The total space of around 50,000 sqm is let to Deutsche Bahn AG with the group’s own service provider DB Systel GmbH. The transaction also includes the directly adjacent “Executive Building” (Gallusanlage 8) with a space of 22,000 sqm, which is also fully let to Deutsche Bahn AG.
McDermott advised Imfarr with a team led by Philipp Grenzebach (Corporate/M&A), Maximilian Clostermeyer (Real Estate), Kian Tauser (Tax).
