Overview
International law firm McDermott Will & Emery advised on the incorporation of the Humanitarian Finance Forum (HFF), a cross-sector forum that aims to harness greater financial resources for humanitarian missions.
HFF was founded in 2021 to bring together key stakeholders to help develop potential sources of large-scale financing, ultimately with the goal of using capital markets to finance and promote projects with a measurable humanitarian impact. HFF is comprised of a dynamic group of experts who represent all innovative finance stakeholders – humanitarian institutions, multilateral international organisations, investment banks, insurance companies, and governments.
