Frankfurt, September 12, 2017 – International Law Firm McDermott Will & Emery advised the ICP Group on the sale of the ICP companies to a Private Equity syndicate.
ICP companies are one of the leading European full-service providers for retailers with regard to electronic payments, pre-paid products and loyalty management. The cross-border transaction comprised the sale of subsidiaries and business activities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands, Luxemburg and Belgium. It has been agreed that the volume of the transaction will not be disclosed.
The McDermott cross-border team was led by Dr. Michael Cziesla and Norman Wasse located in the Frankfurt office who both advised on a number of transactions involving private equity companies since they joined the firm at the beginning of the year.
