McDermott Will & Emery advised Unsere Champions GmbH on its further growth. Unsere Champions acquired Child Care Company GmbH, Zwergenwelt GmbH and MD KitaPartner GmbH.
Child Care Company and Zwergenwelt operate kindergartens and nursery schools in Munich. MD KitaPartner becomes part of Our Champions in the planning phase for a new crèche in Munich and will be supported on driving this project further.
Unsere Champions operates kindergartens and nursery schools at several locations in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The majority shareholders of Unsere Champions are the French Enjoy Group that already established a network of more than 40 nursery schools in France under the name Crèche 1, 2, 3 Soleil, and the Luxembourg-based Lavorel Group, which only joined as a new investor at the beginning of the year.
McDermott regularly advises Our Champions on transactions, including the acquisition of the Munich-based Isarkids group in the first half of 2019.
The McDermott team was led by Norman Wasse and included Maximilian Clostermeyer and Thomas Gennert. It also comprised the associates Isabelle Suzanne Müller, Marion von Grönheim, Tina Zeller and Josepha Hettich.
