Overview
(October 9, 2014) – Captive Review magazine named McDermott “Onshore Law Firm of the Year” and recognized U.S. and International Tax partner Tom Jones with an award for “Outstanding Contribution by an Individual,” at its third annual U.S. Captive Service Awards this week. The Award ceremony was held on Oct. 6, 2014 at the Westin River North Hotel in Chicago.
Widely recognized as a leader in his field, Mr. Jones was given a standing ovation by the attendees while receiving his award. Mr. Jones was the only individual recognized at the ceremony. This is the third consecutive year that McDermott has been recognized in at least one eligible category.
The U.S. Captive Service Awards recognize and reward providers of captive insurance products and services who have outperformed their competitors and demonstrated the highest levels of excellence. Award recipients reviewed by a panel of industry professional through two separate judging stages and are selected based on their work over the past year.
