McDermott and Kaufman Hall Launch “Surviving Disruption: A Roadmap for Health Care Governance”
CHICAGO (Jan. 19, 2018)—Business disruption within the health care industry is inevitable and poses a central challenge for health care governance. The high costs and lack of convenience make the health care industry highly vulnerable to disruption in the form of innovative, nontraditional competitors. To help boards prepare for disruption, international law firm McDermott Will & Emery has joined forces with management consulting firm Kaufman Hall on a new thought leadership series, Surviving Disruption: A Roadmap for Health Care Governance.
This series is designed to help industry leaders identify the signs of disruption, understand the implications for health care governance, and learn how to adopt responsive strategies to prepare their organizations.
Surviving Disruption currently includes the following three part podcast with accompanying planning resources:
Michael Peregrine, a partner at McDermott Will & Emery, represents corporations in all areas of corporate governance law, and is recognized as one of the leading national practitioners and thought leaders in corporate governance.
Kenneth Kaufman is Chair of Kaufman Hall. He provides health care organizations with counsel and guidance in areas including strategy, finance, financial and capital planning, mergers and acquisitions, and partnerships.
