William Gaede led the McDermott team that secured a U.S. district court ruling which allowed Depomed Inc. to preserve its monopoly on the pain drug Graise for a decade, a result welcomed by the small pharmaceutical company and its investors. Mr. Gaede, who was joined by McDermott lawyers David Larson and Bhanu Sadasivan in representing Depomed, said he expected the judge’s decision in the case to be unsealed soon.
