Karen Owen Gibb, who became a partner in the Firm’s Chicago health industry advisory group after serving as vice president and senior counsel at a major integrated pharmacy company, called McDermott “the nation’s top health care law firm” and said she will “expect to use my background in compliance and policy matters to help the firm’s clients stay ahead of today’s fast-moving legislative and regulatory environment.” Stephen Bernstein said Ms. Gibb has a “deep background [that] further enhances our ability to advise health clients on pharmacy compliance and transactional matters, and fraud and abuse issues.”
