David Lipkin, with a strong national M&A practice, said joining the Silicon Valley office as a partner will enable him to help grow the office’s transactional work “in collaboration with the national and international capability rather than just be part of a large group from day one.” Mr. Lipkin added that he expects his life sciences focus to “significantly grow” because McDermott “has a very well-known and respected nationwide life science practice.”
