January 1, 2014 — McDermott Will & Emery’s Health Industry Advisory Practice Group has been named a “Health Practice Group of the Year” for the second consecutive year by leading legal news outlet, Law360.
Law360 Practice Groups of the Year are selected based on the significance of the transactional, litigation and regulatory wins or deals worked on; the size and complexity of the litigation wins or deals worked on; and the numbers of significant, large or complex deals the group worked on between November 1, 2012 and November 1, 2013.
Law360 recognized the role of McDermott lawyers advising health care industry players in some of the largest and most significant transactions of 2013. For example, McDermott represented Premier, Inc. a prominent U.S. health care alliance with respect to its $800 million+ initial public offering, and counseled many of the nation’s top hospitals and health systems on M&A and other consolidation efforts as well as physician practice acquisitions and civil antitrust matters.
