NEW YORK (May 21, 2015) — In a feat unmatched in the legal industry, McDermott Will & Emery has been ranked for the sixth straight year as the nation’s only top-tier law firm in healthcare by Chambers USA, one of the most prestigious directory services for law firms.
In bestowing the honor, Chambers wrote that McDermott’s Health Industry Advisory Practice Group “continues to excel on the gamut of healthcare matters, including data protection, private equity and sub-acute care.” The Firm’s healthcare group was praised for its “impressive national footprint, enabling its representation of a wide-ranging client base.” Further, Chambers noted that McDermott’s “market-leading transactional expertise is complemented by notable regulatory and litigation strength.”
With this latest accolade, McDermott remains in the vanguard of the health law marketplace, where it has also received top honors from other elite legal directories, The Legal 500 USA and U.S. News—Best Lawyers, over the past five years. McDermott was also the past recipient of Chambers’ “Health Team of the Year” awards in 2010 and 2013, the only healthcare practice group to be so honored twice.
