Overview
Kerry Scanlon, a leading employment and civil rights attorney, has left another major law firm to join McDermott as partner and head of US labor and employment litigation. Joining him from his former firm are Jeremy White (partner) and two associates. Mr. Scanlon praised McDermott for its unique sense of collegiality, and said he and his three colleagues have “been extremely busy and are busy right now.” Lazar Raynal (global litigation chair) and Jeffrey Stone (firm co-chair) praised Mr. Scanlon’s strong skill set, client base and fit with the Firm’s culture.
