Overview
Paul Helms, who previously worked as a senior counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission, has joined McDermott as a partner in Chicago. At the SEC, he conducted more than 40 investigations into marketing manipulation, financial fraud, regulatory compliance and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations. He will counsel business clients on enforcement proceedings, securities litigation and internal investigations.
