Overview
Tony Maida, formerly a senior official at the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General (OIG) at HHS, has become a partner in the healthcare practice of McDermott’s New York office. Mr. Maida said he “was looking to find the best group of people to join, with depth and breadth of experience. McDermott has an excellent reputation and the people I met here are a great team.” Practice head Stephen Bernstein praised Mr. Maida as principal author of the OIG’s current self-disclosure protocol, noting that “having someone who was an author to the rules adds a lot of value and additional insight to self-disclosure strategy.”
