Robert Goldstein and Frank Steinherr have joined the New York office from another major firm as partners in the office’s private equity team, which Mr. Goldstein will head. Mr. Goldstein has two decades of experience in private equity, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and distressed investing, while Mr. Steinherr has experience in private equity, private transactions, and “carveout” transactions. Both lawyers, Mr. Goldstein said, will “provide the perfect complement” to McDermott’s current private equity work.
