For the third time, respected rankings giants U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers have recognized McDermott Will & Emery as “Law Firm of the Year” in two major “power alley” practices: Healthcare and Trusts & Estates.
Beyond the top honors this year, McDermott demonstrated depth across practices, earning national rankings for 34 groups (with 23 in Tier 1) and regional rankings for 89 specialties (with 66 in Tier 1). On the strength of its 23 Tier 1 national rankings, McDermott placed among the top 20 law firms in the country.
In references for McDermott, clients cited the firm’s “thorough understanding of knowledge and issues, including the underlying economics and business concerns” of their companies and industries. In part, the rankings stem from extensive client reviews and assessments, and one law firm is honored as “Law Firm of the Year” in each practice area.
