McDermott Names New Office Head

Lydia R.B. Kelley described herself as “energized and excited” to succeed Nancy Gerrie as new McDermott Chicago office managing partner. She said that the Firm always seeks “highly motivated and talented lateral possibilities,” which is helped by the fact that “our Chicago office has something special about it. People look out for each other and they’re always willing to help.” Jeffrey Stone explained that the leader transitions in Chicago and New York (where C. David Goldman succeeded Keith Pattiz) are planned so management “hears different voices” from within the firm and so younger lawyers can develop leadership skills.
