June 6, 2017 — McDermott Will & Emery’s Intellectual Property (IP) Practice has once again received high rankings in two key industry publications: Managing IP and World Trademark Review.
Managing IP
Managing IP’s “2017 IP Stars” ranked McDermott as a leading US intellectual property practice in Life Sciences, Copyright, ITC-Litigation, Patent Contentious, Patent Prosecution, Trademark Contentious, and Trademark Prosecution. McDermott was also “highly recommended” in the following areas:
- California: Trademark Contentious and Trademark Prosecution
- Washington, DC: Patent Prosecution
- Massachusetts: Intellectual Property

World Trademark Review (WTR) once again listed McDermott among the nation’s top trademark firms with a number of the Firm’s practitioners individually recognized in the annual WTR 1000 rankings.
This year McDermott’s trademark practice was nationally ranked and the Firm was also ranked regionally in the following areas:
- California: Trademark Prosecution and Strategy
- DC Metro Area: Trademark Enforcement and Litigation
