BOSTON (February 19, 2014) – McDermott Will & Emery Health Industry Partner Monica Neuman has been chosen by the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) as one of its 2014 “Top Lawyers Under 40.” This prestigious award celebrates and highlights the accomplishments and contributions of HNBA members who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession. The award honors lawyers who have demonstrated professional excellence, integrity, leadership, commitment to the Hispanic community, and dedication to improving the legal profession.

Ms. Neuman represents a wide range of clients, including tax-exempt hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers, physician group practices, medical device and pharmaceutical companies, as well as a variety of other health care organizations. She advises clients on both transactional and regulatory matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic affiliations.
In addition, Ms. Neuman serves on the Latino Advisory Counsel of the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust and serves as a member of McDermott’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and its Racial & Ethnic Diversity & Inclusion Sub-Committee. She is also a member of the McDermott’s Pro Bono & Community Service Committee and focuses her pro bono practice on advocating on behalf of children with special education needs.
Ms. Neuman will be presented with her award on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the HNBA Corporate Counsel Conference in Orlando, FL.
