March 10, 2015 – McDermott Health Partner T. Reed Stephens has been named among Savoy Magazine’s 2015 Most Influential Black Lawyers. Featured in the spring issue, the list showcases the “best of the best” of Black lawyers, including partners at leading national law firms and corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies. These visionaries, leaders and advocates are chosen for their excellence in professionalism, protection of rights and community service.
Reed, a former trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, is a nationally recognized health lawyer focusing on pharmaceutical fraud and abuse and corporate compliance in the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute areas. His clients include pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers, wholesalers, and individuals, as well as health care systems and non-health care related companies in the defense and financial services industries. A dedicated leader in the Washington, D.C. community, Reed has served two terms on the Board of Trustees of the Norwood School in Bethesda, Maryland and is an active member of the American Bar Association, Health Law Section, The D.C. Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
