WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 3, 2014) – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery LLP and 10 of the Firm’s partners have been named among the world’s best trademark firms and practitioners in the fourth annual World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000) produced by World Trademark Review.
For the fourth year in a row, McDermott maintained high rankings for the Firm’s overall strength in trademark matters including litigation, prosecution and strategy, both nationally as well as in the District of Columbia Metro Area, California and Illinois. Our London practice also retained high recognition and this year the Firm received an international ranking. The WTR reported that McDermott “offers coast-to-coast trademark capabilities in the United States,” and its “London team provides invaluable global insight and expertise to a top-end clientele.”
The 10 McDermott practitioners recognized for their work are, for the fourth year in a row, John J. Dabney (Washington, D.C.), Joanne Ludovici (Washington, D.C.), Hiroshi Sheraton (London) and Robert W. Zelnick (Washington, D.C.). McDermott’s Jennifer M. Mikulina (Chicago) was recognized for the third year in a row, and Jorge R. Arciniega (Los Angeles), Margaret M. Duncan (Chicago), Richard Y. Kim (Washington, D.C.) and Rohan Massey (London) for the second year in a row, in addition to newcomer Lynne Boisineau (Orange County).
