McDermott Recognized as a 2023 Top Performer by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has been named a Top Performer by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), which recognizes law firms and corporations that show a strong commitment to building a more inclusive legal profession. The award is given to organizations in the top 20 percent of participation in LCLD programs and activities.

McDermott has proudly been an LCLD member since 2009 with participation building upon years of engagement via the Fellows Program, Pathfinder Program, 1L LCLD Scholars Program and Success in Law School Mentoring Program. This year, four leaders were selected to participate in the 2023 LCLD programs: Partners Marshall Jackson and Arianne Plasencia as LCLD Fellows and Associates Li Wang and Kierstin Fowler as LCLD Pathfinders.

LCLD is comprised of more than 450 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners—the leaders of the profession—who are committed to ensuring that all talent thrives, with the goal of building a more equitable and diverse legal profession.
