McDermott Will & Emery is proud to announce that six partners have been recognized as “Leading Lawyers” in their jurisdictions by The Legal 500 EMEA. These individuals were identified as providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice to corporate counsel.
In this year’s guide, 51 McDermott lawyers received recommendations, with six partners recognized as consistently exceeding client expectations: Emmanuelle Trombe (Paris); Carlo Maria Paolella and Emidio Cacciapuoti (Milan); Dr. Sabine Konrad (Frankfurt), Dr. Dirk Pohl (Munich) and Dr. Stephan Rau (Munich).
Notably, the Firm achieved 32 prominent practice rankings in Belgium, France, Germany and Italy, which serves to highlight the Firm’s strengthening position and growth in key markets across Europe.
In recognition of the Firm’s deepening capabilities, McDermott earned top positions for Health Care & Life Sciences (France and Germany) and Real Estate (Germany), and gained new rankings for six practice areas. Its Milan office won three new rankings for Investment Funds, Banking and Finance and Private Equity. The Paris office added Insolvency and IT, Telecoms and the Internet to its ranked practice areas. While the Munich office extended its ranked areas to include Information Technology: Data Protection.
