McDermott Recognized for “Tipping the Scales” Towards Gender Parity in 2023 New Partner Classes

Overview

November 9, 2023 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is a “Tipping the Scales” recipient in the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s 2023 New Partner Report. The Alliance recognizes law firms with 50% or more women in their new partner class globally and/or in the US.

McDermott’s commitment to gender equity and women’s issues dates back to 1957, when we became the second major US law firm to elect a female partner. As a Diversity & Flexibility Alliance Leader Member, we develop policies and initiatives to reinforce the Firm’s longstanding commitment to accepting and understanding gender differences, and to recruiting, retaining and promoting the most talented lawyers and staff regardless of gender.
