Overview
PARIS (November 7, 2017) McDermott Will & Emery has appointed Fabrice Piollet as Counsel. Fabrice will be based in the Firm’s Paris office, joining the corporate, M&A and private equity team.
Fabrice has eight years of legal experience and has worked on all types of large-cap and mid-cap transactions, mainly in private equity. He has specific experience in assisting sponsors, management teams and founders on highly strategic issues and joins McDermott from the corporate team of another major international law firm in Paris, where he was an associate since 2009. During his career, Fabrice has been involved in transactions concerning both private and public M&A, capital risk, debt restructuring and other types of reorganization.
Admitted to the Paris (2008) and New York (2009) bars, Fabrice holds an LLM from the New York University School of Law (2009) and a Master in business law from the Université Paris II Panthéon Assas (2008).

In addition to M&A, the Firm also operates in the context of international litigation and international arbitration, international tax structuring and competition law.
The corporate, M&A and private equity team advises both French and international clientele made up of companies, management teams in LBO transactions or majority management buyout transactions, in addition to private equity funds on all of their cross-border deals. The Firm advises all of the involved parties during the M&A process: buyer, seller, financial counsel, lender, investment bank, the executives and the corporate bodies of the concerned companies across a wide array of sectors, including life sciences, energy, tourism and telecommunications.
