McDermott Will & Emery expands its real estate practice in Frankfurt. As of 16 September 2019, Frank Müller joins as a partner from Corpus Sireo Real Estate.

On November 1, 2019, Dr Claudia Benz will join McDermott, who also comes from Corpus Sireo Real Estate and has already worked closely with Frank Müller. Claudia Benz was previously an in-house lawyer with the German Investment and Asset Management Association (Bundesverband Investment und Asset Management e.V., BVI) and at Universal Investment. Like Frank Müller, she has many years of experience in investment and supervisory law. In Frankfurt, the McDermott team around tax partner Dr. Kian Tauser already advises the firm’s real estate clients on investment law and investment tax law.

In October 2018, Dr. Maximilian Clostermeyer had joined McDermott’s Frankfurt real estate team as a counsel.
