“Jed has more than 13 years of experience doing patent prosecution and strategy work in the electrical and medical device fields,” said Sarah Chapin Columbia, global head of McDermott’s Intellectual Property Practice. “His arrival helps reinforce the firm’s ability to meet the needs of clients in the Boston tech sector and other high-tech markets around the world.”

Mr. Gordon handles a variety of transactional work for clients, including conducting due diligence, licensing negotiations, and freedom to operate analyses for acquisition and investment in public and private companies. “We are thrilled to welcome Jed,” said Tony Bongiorno, partner-in-charge in Boston. “We are excited about the talent and experience that Jed brings to the office, and we look forward to integrating him into our platform, such that he can further develop his practice and service clients.”

Mr. Gordon graduated, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School (JD, 2002) where he was a contributing editor for the Michigan Law Review.
