CHICAGO (July 15, 2015) – McDermott Will & Emery ranked second in diversity in Chicago Lawyer’s 15th annual survey of the largest law firms in Illinois. McDermott was specifically recognized for its achievements in gender diversity as its percentage of women partners (both equity and income) increased from 25.6% to 33.5% over the last ten years. Most notably, McDermott’s Chicago office was highlighted as having the highest proportion of women equity partners among the largest law firms in Illinois. A full quarter of the firm’s equity partners in the Chicago office are women, which is a reflection of McDermott’s overall commitment to firm wide gender diversity.
