McDermott Will & Emery’s Washington Office Recognized as a Pro Bono Leader Among DC Firms

Overview

WASHINGTON, DC (April 1, 2015) — McDermott Will & Emery’s DC office was recognized by the Chief Judges of the District of Columbia Federal Courts at the twelfth annual “40 at 50 Judicial Pro Bono Recognition Breakfast.” McDermott was one of twenty-three law firms recognized at the event honoring those firms at which at least 40% of all attorneys dedicated 50 or more pro bono hours in 2014.

McDermott’s DC attorneys exceeded the goal set by the Circuit’s Judicial Conference, and received special recognition as one of only ten firms that had over 50% of attorneys dedicating 50 or more pro bono hours in 2014. In addition, McDermott’s DC office was one of only four to be recognized as having at least 40% of partners who dedicated 50 or more pro bono hours last year.

McDermott’s DC leadership is committed to supporting and encouraging pro bono and community service involvement throughout the Washington office. McDermott’s DC office is proud to uphold the Firm’s commitment and dedication to pro bono legal work and is honored to be recognized as a leader in this effort alongside so many prestigious firms.
