McDermott’s Marshall Jackson Jr. Recognized as a Minority Corporate Counsel Association Rising Star

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce Chicago-based partner Marshall E. Jackson, Jr. has been named a 2023 Rising Star by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA).

Marshall focuses his practice on transactional and regulatory counseling for clients in the healthcare industry, as well as advises clients on the legal, regulatory and compliance aspects of digital health. In addition, Marshall serves on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, acting as Head of the Retention Sub-Committee and a member of the Income Partner Committee. He also played a key role in the development of McDermott Rise program and supports its success by serving on both the steering and selection committees.

MCCA’s Rising Stars series is an annual list featuring attorneys whose accomplishments and dedication to the legal profession and to their community place them among those “attorneys to watch.” The goal for honorees is to embody a wide representation, including race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, attorneys with disabilities, geographic location and practice area.
