Anthony Bongiorno, who has succeeded Mark Pearlstein as new partner-in-charge of McDermott’s Boston office, called Boston “a legitimate power center in the firm when you look at the percentage of practice group leaders in this office.” He cited such lawyers as Byron Kalogerou (life sciences), Sarah Chapin Columbia (IP litigation), Stephen Bernstein (healthcare), Michael Kendall (white collar defense) and Michael Sartor (private equity) as representing leadership and growth areas for the office.
