Daniel Gottlieb addressed in this radio interview the privacy risks involved with health data apps for the Apple Watch. Mr. Gottlieb noted that such apps “can collect information about your heart rate, your weight and eating habits” and many other personal concerns, and warned that although “Apple has done a good job of giving the consumer control over their health information … the risks are, once they select which data to share, whether the app they use provides adequate protection to that data.”
