James Commons was among the lawyers representing the King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, who on January 16 filed a motion asking a Fulton County Superior Court judge to dissolve a temporary restraining order in a dispute involving the estate of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The filing said that two children of Dr. King, one of whom is on the estate board and is CEO of the King Center, supported the idea of an estate board meeting to resolve the legal disputes.
