NCSL Panelists Say Alternative MFA Proposals Are Meant to ‘Run Out the Clock’

Arthur Rosen speaking at a National Conference of State Legislatures panel, said that if other state and local tax measures now before Congress (such as the Business Activity Tax Simplification Act, or BATSA) are considered with the Marketplace Fairness Act, “it would work to your benefit to think about BATSA in light of it being possibly combined with sales tax legislation.”
