Ira Coleman, interviewed as McDermott’s newly elected Chair, said his experience as Miami partner-in-charge will be useful because “Miami is a city where diversity is embraced. It’s representative of what’s going on in the world, where wealthy people and businesses can be anywhere with technology.” He also stressed that encouraging a positive atmosphere is “a key driver in everything we’re trying to do. If we really want to be indispensable to clients we need to have a very happy group working for them.”
