Peter Rich, commenting on a New York insurer’s lawsuit against a health system that ran ads asking patients to choose insurance plans that included its hospitals, said it is becoming increasingly common for providers left out of health plans to advertise that fact to consumers, although he added he has not heard of too many lawsuits over the issue.
