Arthur Rosen commented on the need for federal legislation to combat variations in state tax policy, particularly following the Wayfair decision. “I do, indeed, think that there is great need for federal legislation as the states’ tax policies often lead to harm for the American economy in terms of jobs, capital investment, etc,” said Rosen. “I specifically think there is a need for federal legislation to outlaw economic nexus in the income tax area.”
