Overtime – You Hate It, You Better Pay It


Linda Doyle reminded employers about their obligations to pay non-exempt employee overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act, noting that employers “incur liability if they have employees they think are exempt but aren’t.” Ms. Doyle added she has had clients who “classified their outside sales reps as exempt but found that they didn’t pass the duties test for exemption because of the actual work they performed.” Read the full article.
