Heath Care Stays Hot as Paul Hastings Practice Head Jumps to McDermott

James Owens, previously head of the health care group at another global law firm, has joined McDermott’s health industry advisory practice in Los Angeles. Noting that he has worked across from McDermott lawyers for years and envied their practice, Mr. Owens said he hopes to be joined by three associates from his former firm. Stephen Bernstein, head of McDermott’s health group, said Mr. Owens “has advised some of the biggest names in the California health market.”
