LONDON (May 2, 2017) – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce it has appointed Peter Crichton as partner in its expanding Corporate & Transactional Practice Group in London.
Peter is an acquisition finance partner specialising in acting for lenders and borrowers in syndicated, leveraged and structured finance transactions as well as restructurings. He has over 20 years of experience working in the loan markets and joins from a major international law firm where he had a successful mid-market acquisition finance practice.
He represents prominent lenders and borrowers on a variety of deals, and is described by major legal directories as “notably adept at handling super senior loans.”
Peter’s clients include major banks, financial institutions and private equity firms such as Alcentra, Bluebay, Cordet Capital, Crescent Capital, CVC, Electra, Hayfin, HIG Capital, LDC, Lloyds Bank plc, HSBC Bank plc, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, and Sovereign Capital. Peter also acts for a variety of corporate borrowers from family owned to listed companies.
