Overview
Lisa Linsky was a featured panelist at a program by the Cato Institute’s Center for Constitutional Studies addressing One, Inc. v. Olesen , the first gay civil rights case before the US Supreme Court. Ms. Linsky spoke about the partnership between McDermott (including her and Paul Thompson, Britt Haxton, Jim Camden, Mary Hallerman, Megan Morley, Ryan Leske, Lisa Gerson and Melissa Nott-Davis) and the Mattachine Society of D.C. to rescue forgotten historical documents on the histories of LGBT Americans, and noted that by such efforts, “it takes work it takes advocacy, … but we can make change happen.” View the full video
