Leigh-Alexandra Basha was among nine experts quoted on family wealth transfers for the ultra-wealthy. Ms. Basha called such individuals “hard workers, not ones that just got lucky at the roulette table. They have the ‘sweat equity’ in their business.” She noted that their concerns include educating their children and making philanthropic gifts “where there’s a legacy and where they’re going to make an impact.”
