McDermott IP lawyers, representing Unified Patents, filed a petition for inter partes review at the PTAB against patents owned and asserted by SoftVault Systems Inc., a well-known non-practicing entity. The patents are used to protect and control personal computers and/or components and have been asserted in multiple district court cases against major technology companies.
