Lisa Linsky talked in this online interview about McDermott’s pro bono support for investigation of documents showing federal government discrimination against gay employees, as reported in The New York Times. “We were very excited by The New York Times article that was showcasing our work,” Ms. Linsky said. “The work is that of the Mattachine Society of DC and McDermott. We formed a unique partnership to engage in something called archival activism. It is an effort to locate and resurrect federal documents showing this federal government discrimination and bigotry against LGBT federal employees during the 40s, 50s and 60s.” Watch the full interview
